Framing is where a drawing becomes a house, and it is also where weather and schedule risk are highest on Vancouver Island. We manage floor systems, walls, roof structure, engineered beams and the sheathing that closes the building in.
ACAP LTD works with OG Prefab for framing. They build panelized wall and floor systems in a controlled shop, which shortens the time the structure is exposed to rain, and they also frame on site where the design or access calls for it. Whichever method suits your project, ACAP coordinates delivery, crane time, inspections and the handover to roofing, windows and the mechanical trades.
The framing inspection is the gate before insulation and drywall. We schedule it so that electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-ins are done and ready to be looked at together, which avoids a second visit and keeps the build moving.

Is panelized framing right for my project?
Often, particularly for simple, repeated layouts like duplexes and garden suites. Complex rooflines or tight access may favour site framing. We recommend one after seeing the plans and the lot.
Do you handle the framing inspection?
Yes. We book it, make sure the rough-ins are ready, and deal with any corrections the inspector asks for.
Do you frame additions and garden suites?
Yes, along with new homes, duplexes and multiplexes.
